National Retail Federation – A Powerful Partnership. Tap into the power of:

issues. In addition to some 50 committees, we offer:

DecisionMaker Series. This series of summits addresses the challenges facing industry executives.
CEO Summit, CFO Summit, CIO Summit, CMO Summit, LP Executive Summit, and HR Executive Summit are free to senior executives from chain restaurant member companies.
Your Industry Advocate:
Leadership. NCCR has taken a leadership role in achieving major victories and developing sound public policy on numerous issues directly impacting the chain restaurant industry. These include (1) defeat of "single-site" union organizing, a union-supported initiative which would have greatly aided unions in organizing; (2) passage of legislation to permit electronic storage of I-9s; (3) development of
food safety protocols and practices; and (4) renewal of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit and the Welfare-to-Work Tax Credit.
Legislation Affecting You. Members can follow the progress of critical federal legislation affecting
businesses through the NCCR website, www.nccr.net, email alerts, committee updates, and the monthly newsletter. Consult the Issues section on the Government Affairs page of www.nrf.com and,
get an overview of the legislative landscape from all 50 states through iStateLink on the Members
Only section of www.nrf.com. We work for sound public policy on more than 50 issues including
taxation, animal welfare, obesity, food safety and immigration – in addition to monitoring corporate
governance requirements through the Sarbanes-Oxley bill.
