Membership
NCCR has taken a leadership role on behalf of chain restaurants in achieving major victories and developing sound public policy on numerous issues directly impacting the industry. These include: (1) opposition to union “Card Check” legislation; (2) supporting federal preemption of state and local menu labeling laws and helping to shape subsequent regulations; (3) development of food safety protocols and practices; and (4) support for debit card “Swipe Fee” reform.
In addition, NCCR membership provides access to dozens of relevant committees and provides companies with a wealth of research and resources. As a benefit of membership, employees of NCCR member companies may also participate in NRF committees, from its Internal Audit Group to the Loss Prevention Advisory Committee and Employment Law Committee.
