The National Council of Chain Restaurants (NCCR), a division of the National Retail Federation, is an organization comprised of nearly 40 of the largest chain restaurant companies in the country. Since the 1960's, NCCR has harnessed the power of the industry to advance sound public policy that represents the best interests of the industry.

NRF In a move designed to strengthen the collective voice and message of the retail industry, the National Council of Chain Restaurants, in November of 2000, became a division of the National Retail Federation. www.nrf.com
For the past several years the President of NCCR has also led the National Food Service Security Council (NFSSC). This group is dedicated to promoting and protecting the safety and security of the employees, customers and property of the chain restaurants. www.nfssconline.org
IFMA NCCR has joined forces in a strategic alliance with the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association. In addition to writing a regular column on legislative issues for IFMA World magazine, NCCR speakers take the stage at IFMA conferences to provide insight into legislative issues affecting the industry. www.ifmaworld.org
Food Allergy The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) was established in 1991. FAAN's membership now stands at more than 25,000 worldwide and includes families, dietitians, nurses, physicians, school staff, representatives from government agencies, and the food and pharmaceutical industries. FAAN serves as the communication link between the patient and others.
