M. Scott Vinson
Scott Vinson is Vice President of government relations for NCCR. In this capacity,
he manages and directs the development and implementation of NCCR's legislative
and regulatory policies and strategies. Prior to joining NCCR in March
2001, Scott was manager of labor and immigration policy at the U.S. Chamber
of Commerce in Washington, DC. Before entering government relations, Scott
worked for legislators at both the state and federal level.
A native of Iowa, Scott is a graduate of Iowa State University with
a degree in finance and accounting. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree
from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Shawna Purvis
Shawna Purvis has served as the executive assistant to NCCR for the
past nine years. In this role she manages the day-to-day operations of
the office. Additionally, as conference coordinator for the National Food
Service Security Council, she manages major trade shows and annual conferences
each year.
